With life, comes loss. But our ability to reflect and grow from loss is what makes our lives distinctly human. Throughout our history we have designed tools, shards of larger memories that help us deal with loss. Memento, keepsake, and relic are some of the names we have given to the tools we look for when we lose something we love.
These tokens of memories act as spiritual guides that navigate us through grief and serve as a reminder of our growth. It’s important not to ignore our past, but let it plant seeds for our future.
This exhibit aims to offer you a space to claim that memory towards your growth.
