Littman + White Galleries is pleased to announce we are now accepting open submissions from BIPOC Portland State University students until Oct 28th. Submissions can be in any type of art made from a single  8.5" x 11" sheet of white printer paper. Accepted submissions will be hung in our White Gallery in The Smith Memorial Student Union for a creative and experimental exhibition event called “Destroy This Gallery: But Please Not Really” as a way to give space to artists from underrepresented communities, and recognize art that reflect the region’s diversity of cultures, aesthetics, and creative practices.

The rules are simple: make art from a single  8.5" x 11" sheet of white printer paper that can be mounted to a wall.

The submission material is simple, but the creativity isn’t! Make art that resonates with you; it can be anything from a comic strip and watercolor, to origami or a hand turkey. We can’t wait to see what you submit. Prior to accepting submissions an Art On Loan Agreement will need to be signed.

We the gallery reserve the right to reject any submissions that are discriminatory or otherwise goes against our Mission Statement as a student-run gallery.

Please turn in submissions to the Littman Gallery at SMSU 250 on the second floor of the Smith Memorial Student Union. If you have any other questions, please email us at littmanandwhite@pdx.edu
